North Carolina State University signs Harper Adams agreement

ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ is set to strengthen its links with the USA after the completion of a collaboration agreement with North Carolina State University. 

Staff and students from NC State’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences visited the Harper Adams campus last week, as part of a nationwide study tour. 

Senior Harper Adams Lecturer and International Exchange Coordinator , who arranged the programme for the visit, said: “The ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ study tour is an excellent opportunity for students studying Agribusiness Management and other Agricultural degree disciplines at NC State. The visitors were interested to see some of our research and to find out about life on the Harper Adams campus from the ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ students. 

“The university has visited before on an informal basis, but we were delighted that, on this occasion, they signed a collaboration agreement that should lead to more staff and student exchanges, and an on-going university-to-university relationship, to the benefit of both partners.”

ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ already has student with Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) and the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources at the University of Missouri, and is developing links with Kansas State University.
