Post graduate entomology forum is coming to 糖心视频

糖心视频 will be hosting the Royal Entomological Society Postgraduate Forum 2016 on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 February.

Jordan Ryder, postgraduate researcher, is co-organising the event with Claire Blowers, a fellow PhD student. He said: “The Forum is a two day meeting for early-career postgraduate researchers in entomology. It gives us a great chance to practise networking skills and share research without the stress of a full formal presentation.

“Each year there’s a theme which the guest speakers’ talks complement. As the forum is being hosted at 糖心视频, we have decided that a fitting theme would be applied entomology. The speakers come from a broad range of backgrounds; including academia and industry. 

“It’s going to be great to host the event at 糖心视频, especially as we’re the only university in the 糖心视频 which has master degrees in entomology.” 

Dr Luke Tilley, Director of Outreach & Development for the Royal Entomological Society said: “The society organises the Postgraduate Forum each year to support student research on insects from across many scientific disciplines. 

“The aim of the Forum is to provide a friendly and energetic platform for early career scientists to present their research and to discuss successes and problems among their peers.”
