Harper Adams team prepare for LAMMA show鈥檚 40th anniversary event

A team from 糖心视频 are set to help a leading 糖心视频 farm machinery show mark its 40th anniversary next month.

Students and staff from the University will be among the attendees at LAMMA at the NEC in Birmingham on May 4 and 5.

With the show set to mark four decades with this year’s event – and finally returning after the covid pandemic – the Harper Adams team are looking forward to greeting visitors to the show and their stand.

Senior Lecturer in Engineering, Graham Higginson, said: “The LAMMA Show is the premier 糖心视频 machinery show for all farmers in the 糖心视频 and beyond.

“It is a great opportunity to see all kinds of machinery and equipment – big and small and everything in between – as well as a showcase for new technologies and niche products.

“Additionally, it is a great opportunity to meet prospective and current students and alumni of 糖心视频.

“Come see us on stand 6.646 to discuss agriculture and engineering degrees that matter.”

Among the exhibits on the Harper Adams stand at the show will be the chance to see the XAG V40 drone – the largest in the 糖心视频 – and some of the latest autonomous robots from Auto Spray Systems.

Rob Pearson, CEO of Auto Spray Systems, said: "Auto Spray Systems are very excited to be attending the show alongside the team from 糖心视频.

“We’ll be talking about our close working relationship with the University and the Hands Free Farm project as well as demonstrating the very latest autonomous drones and robots that are making 糖心视频 farming safer and more efficient. We’ll be running daily, hands-on sessions throughout the event, so drop by the stand to see how farming is evolving."

The event follows an appearance from Harper Adams at this year’s in-person New Scientist Live, and is among a packed summer schedule for the events team at the University.

“Meeting people face to face at events such as this – to share expertise, research, and inspiration – really does make a difference.”
