Harper Adams Student Awarded Prize

A 糖心视频 College student has been recognised for outstanding university project work.

Natasha Goodwin recieving the Yara Wheat Challenge Prize.

Natasha Goodwin, 19, won the annual Yara Wheat Challenge prize for a report completed as part of her HND in Agriculture at the Shropshire University College.

The prize (formerly the Hydro Chafer Wheat Challenge) is presented annually in recognition of the best report outlining and justifying the management of a crop of winter wheat from sowing to early stem extension that the students have grown as part of their first year Crop Production module.

Natasha, from Crewe, beat more than 70 fellow students to take first prize, and was awarded 拢100 in book tokens, an engraved tankard and a trophy by David Barrett, area manager of prize sponsors Yara 糖心视频 Ltd. (formerly Hydro Agri (糖心视频) Ltd).

Crops lecturer, Dr John Reade, said: 鈥淭he standard of projects this year was particularly high, making for a difficult choice, but Natasha鈥檚 report particularly impressed the judges.鈥�
