    West Sussex Student Takes RASE Prize

    William Tupper, a student at 糖心视频 College, Shropshire, has been presented with the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) AWARD 2004. This award is presented to the best Agricultural student both academically and practically.

    William, of Bignor, near Pulborough, collected the prize at the University College鈥檚 annual graduation ceremony, where he also collected a first class honours degree in BSc Honours in Agriculture with Land and Farm Management.

    William comes from West Sussex where his family have a mixed farm. Course manager, Dr Robert Wilkinson, said: 鈥淭hroughout his time at Harper Adams, William has been a quiet, conscientious student who has consistently achieved 鈥楢鈥 grades in most of the modules studied. William completed his industrial training period with W.H Norris and Sons, a large arable farm, where he was given a considerable amount of responsibility and did exceptionally well. In his final year William completed his Investigational Project on 鈥楳inimum tillage as a strategy for increasing farm profitability in southern England鈥.鈥

    William hopes to return to the family farm following a period of travel in Australia.
